The Staff

Scott Cairns

  Scott has been a member of support staff since 1996 previously being a student on the course. He has been in many productions and is skilled in prop making and costuming. In his non-summer school role Scott is owner of a successful consultancy firm. Scott’s energy and enthusiasm ensures the course members and staff remain buoyant during the weeks gruelling schedule. 

  His love of Summer School is rivalled only by the Russians love of Vodka and he would gladly give his right arm each year in order to be a part of Summer School.

Joe Toakley

  Joe has been a member of support staff since 2005 and has completed 4 years as a student on the course. 'By day' Joe is an actor and is currently touring with Scene Productions.

  Joe's bounciness is equalled only by Zebedee or Tigger and his sense of humour is legendary.

  His organisation and hard work ensure the smooth operation of the weeks schedule.
